Recombinant Proteinase K Lyophilized powder and liquid
Description
Proteinase K is a kind of high activity Proteinase of subtilisin, which can be used to digest various proteins, and it can be used in a variety of molecular biology, cell biology and other related experiments, such as genomic DNA extraction, enzyme digestion and removal, cell permeability and so on. The effective pH range of Proteinase K is pH4.0~12.5, and the optimal pH range is pH7.5~8.0. The optimum reaction temperature of Proteinase K is 65°C, but at 65°C or higher, Proteinase K can also degrade rapidly.
Recombinant Proteinase K (rProK) is derived from yeast based on the optimized gene of Engyodontium album by site-directed mutation. It is purified by chromatography process. The rProK is completely free of DNase and RNase activities. The biological activity is more than 30U/mg, which one unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will hydrolyze urea-denatured hemoglobin to produce color equivalent to 1.0 µmol tyrosine per min at 37°C, pH 7.5 (color by Folin-Ciocalteu reagent). Healthgen Biotech recombinant proteinase K has both lyophilized powder and liquid (20mg/ml), and production capacity is 20kg/month, which can meat your bulk quantity demand.

Recombinant proteinase K (rProK) is ideal for many molecular biology applications because it is able to break down proteins and inactivate DNases and RNases, that would otherwise degrade a desired sample of DNA or RNA.
- Digestion of unwanted proteins in molecular biology applications
- Removal of endotoxins bound to cationic proteins such as lysozyme and RNaseA
- Removal of nucleases for in situ hybridization
- Prion research with respect to TSE (transmissible spongiform encephalopathies)
- Protease footprinting
- Mitochontrial isolation
- Isolation of genomic DNA
- Isolation of cytoplasmic RNA
- Isolation of highly native DNA or RNA
Healthgen Biotech quality control systerm has been certified by ISO 9001:2015 and ensure standardized process as well as qualified products.
