Advantages
1. Healthgen Biotech recombinant Human Epidermal Growth Factor (rhEGF) has excellent batch consistency. Using the world's advanced facility and top production proceeding to extract and purify the rhEGF, Healthgen can ensure the excellent consistency of rhEGF from different batches.
3. The lyophilized powder rhEGF can keep the stability and bioactivity. The lyophilized powder effectively prevents the changes of physical, chemical properties and biological characteristics of rhEGF. It has small damage to biological structure and characteristics of the dormant state and can make them quickly enter the sleep state. So the EGF freeze-dried powder can be stored at -20 ℃ for more than 24 months. The appearance of our rhEGF powder is white color, which is the same as the EGF derived from E.coli.
Supplemental Description
EGF is a potent growth factor that stimulates the proliferation of various epidermal and epithelial cells. Additionally, EGF has been shown to inhibit gastric secretion, and to be involved in wound healing. EGF signals through a receptor known as c-erbB, which is a class I tyrosine kinase receptor. This receptor also binds with TGF-α and VGF (vaccinia virus growth factor). Recombinant human EGF is a 6.3 kDa globular protein containing 53 amino acid residues including 3 intramolecular disulfide-bonds. It was manufactured using all non-animal reagents.
