High Purity Human Epidermal Growth Factor Protein Promoting Epidermal Cell Growth
Description
Epidermal cells are always used in the research for the skin cell metabolism and regeneration. EGF is an important growth factor for stimulating epithelial cells growth and promoting the new epidermis cells constantly to ripen. At the same time, EGF accelerate the metabolism of skin cells, enhance the absorption of nutritions; EGF promote the synthesis of collagen and collagenase and the secretion of collagen substances, hyaluronic acid and glycoprotein. So rhEGF always used in the epidermal cell culture.

Advantages
1. Healthgen Biotech recombinant Human Epidermal Growth Factor (rhEGF) has excellent batch consistency. Using the world's advanced facility and top production proceeding to extract and purify the rhEGF, Healthgen Biotech can ensure the excellent consistency of rhEGF from different batches.
2. Healthgen Biotech has a professional quality control department, in which 50% of them have master's degree or higher. There are 14 employees in the quality department, 9 of them are in QA and 5 are in QA. All of them have rich experience in analysis research or quality inspection. Half of them have graduated diploma. Every year there are more than 50 training courses, which cover GMP, SOP, specification, hygiene, QA, QC issues, etc.
Supplemental Description
EGF is a potent growth factor that stimulates the proliferation of various epidermal and epithelial cells. Additionally, EGF has been shown to inhibit gastric secretion, and to be involved in wound healing. EGF signals through a receptor known as c-erbB, which is a class I tyrosine kinase receptor. This receptor also binds with TGF-α and VGF (vaccinia virus growth factor). Recombinant human EGF is a 6.2 kDa globular protein containing 53 amino acid residues including 3 intramolecular disulfide-bonds. It was manufactured using all non-animal reagents.
